Greetings Kin! My name is Zachary Bushnell, and I’m the drive behind the forged in fury project.
For longer than I can remember I’ve been fully obsessed with the miniature hobby, painting, playing, building and kit-bashing have been my safe place for as long as I can remember.
Coming from a family history of miniature sculpting, I’d always been taken with the concept of making this hobby my living, and Forged in Fury is that journey!
The Void Born Kin
Kickstarting my adventure into the miniature creation work space was a project I spent years working on in the background. A collection of Space Dwarf themed designs and stories written on my work breaks. Over time these concepts culminated into ‘The Void Born Kin’ a Kickstarter campaign featuring many of the miniatures you’ll find in our store today. The goal was to create a range of STL’s print ready for any printer enthusiast to put together a fresh army, focused on customizability, character and all things Dwarven.
For over a year now since the succesfull funding of ‘The Void Born kin’ on Kickstarter I have developed the Forged in Fury business through Patreon STL releases and My Mini Factory STL sales. This process was an awesome and thrilling dive into the world of internet sales and marketing, but ultimatley a journey with a limiting factor.
3D printing is an awesome hobby and industry, but I know there are more dedicated Kin out there seeking to marshal a grand throng without the resources to take advantage of STL’s or modeling software.
So with this in mind I have made the transition into selling physical 3D prints of my miniature range, with the intention of providing a variety of Dwarf themed miniatures to a global market, focused on the Void Born Kin to begin with, but with many more grand projects on the way…
